About Our Logo
Our logo has more than one aspect stemming from our own adventures. Mountains, hills, and oceans represent various outings we enjoy together that inspire us. Our logo is part of those experiences. But it is also for you, to make it your story. What do you see in the logo? What adventures motivate and inspire you? We wanna be there with you, in your moment, as you write your story.
What is KüLM Outdoors?
We are a small company located in a wonderful community in Hilliard, OH. We are a family of 5, including our labrodoodle, Cooper! Our passion and dream collided many years ago in our pursuit of becoming small business owners, amidst the journey we were already in of raising our three boys, ages 13, 11 and 6. We desired to create a brand, which meant something to us, a brand we could believe in, and at the same time, thinking beyond ourselves and giving back to this world in some way. We wanted our first product to be something we used and touched daily, and would be easy to promote and sell because we believed in it and stood behind it.
Here’s how our first product was chosen. Our three boys create a constant adventure! This beautiful adventure called for constant hydration, which ultimately drove our family’s decision in creating our water bottle. Just like you, we carry water bottles with us all the time, but they were not personal to our family’s story, passion and adventure. Through this journey, we decided we wanted our own, built on our family’s values. From that moment, KüLM Outdoors was born!
We had a vision of sharing the experiences we love and enjoy in an artful expression – not just a logo – but a meaningful, artful expression invoking your creative imagination. We knew exactly who would understand and bring our vision to life. Let me introduce you to Ben! Ben Durham of bb-by-design, in Denver, CO is an artist/adventurer extraordinaire, who was able to sit with us, hear our heart and vision, and ultimately bring to life our logo. Ben, who happens to be our brother, is the artist behind KüLM Outdoors. He has had opportunities to experience extreme adventure and he is fueled by great passion for life. The details of our logo include adventures we all love from hiking, to skiing, to climbing, and relaxing by the beach. There is meaning behind every aspect of the logo you see, from the ice climber (one of Ben’s many climbs), to the kayaker, all the way up to steps on the mountain symbolizing the five, unique members of our family. And there it is, KüLM Outdoors, designed in Denver.
Our name is more than just a water bottle, we are an outdoor company with dreams of giving you more products in the future. Products built with quality and integrity ready to with you on your adventures!
